At Koa Academy, we\u2019re committed to rigorous academics – and we also create space for passions, friendships, and growth beyond the classroom. One of the great strengths of our model is that it frees up time and resources for students to pursue meaningful interests outside of school – whether in sports, arts, music, or community activities. Community and connection are just as important as academics. While students connect daily in engaging online Pods, we\u2019re also intentional about creating opportunities for them to meet face-to-face.<\/p>

Every term, we host in-person events in each Koa city, including Nairobi \u2014 from social gatherings to educational outings. These events give students the chance to bond, explore, and create memories together, while also helping families connect with the wider Koa community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

These events are similar to our socials, but have an educational twist. We\u2019re on a mission to have a good time, connect, and learn all at once.<\/p>

We\u2019ve done experiments at the Science Centre, explored the Taal monument, dissected sharks, had a scavenger hunt in a history museum, and more!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\nDuring the week they have online social activities but they also organise in-person socials twice a term.
